Accident Reports

To request an accident report:

1. Make a written request to the Atkinson Police Department - 27 Academy Avenue, PO Box 321, Atkinson, NH 03811

2. Accident reports will only be released to those involved and their insurance companies.

3. There is a $15 fee.

Alarm Billing / Monitoring

	The first and second occurrence of a false alarm within a six month period is free of charge.
	The third through sixth false alarm(s) within a six month period shall be charged at the rate of $25.00 per occurrence.
	After six of more false alarms - the Chief of Police may suspend the permit to operate an alarm.

Criminal Record Requests

To obtain criminal record information.

1. Apply in person at New Hampshire State Police Headquarters - 33 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH (with picture I.D.); OR

2. Mail in application (to above address) notarized by either a Notary Public or Justice of the Peace; OR

3. A release to a third party requires a similar notarization and a third party signature.

4. There is a $15 fee.

Pistol Permits

To obtain a NH Pistol Permit:

1. Apply in person at the Atkinson Police Department (with picture ID)

2. There is a $10 fee

Requests for Reports / Research Fees

To request a copy of an incident report:

1. Request in writing (state the date, time, and location of the incident)

2. The fee is: $15.00

Copies of any incident reports or accident reports that are currently pending court will not be given out by the Records Division. Copies of these reports are available through the Plaistow District Court.
